Askews and Holts Library Services

Askews and Holts bibliographic records are created by Bibliographic Data Services, The Library of Congress, The British Library and our own team of cataloguers.

The records we provide adhere to current cataloguing standards including:

• RDA
• AACR2
• UKMARC or MARC21 exchange format
• NACO authority control for personal and corporate authors
• Dewey Decimal Classification
• Library of Congress Classification
• Library of Congress Subject Headings
• BIC
• Genre headings for fiction

Local cataloguing rules and specific profiling can be included to provide MARC records individual to your institution and Library Management System. All records can be delivered direct to you via email or FTP.

MARC records are available for all material we supply; print books, eBooks, DVD and CD material.
